It's a new dawn, and not just for mutant kind; the threat posed by Apocalypse has been averted, at least for now. Magneto and his Acolytes have returned to hiding, undoubtedly waiting for an opportunity to present itself that would allow the Acolytes to strike against the humans. Students have begun returning to the Xavier Institute, both old and new, prompting Charles to expand the Institute to accommodate the growing student body. New additions to the Brotherhood Boarding House have also been noted, and Mystique is rumored to have returned to her position as leader of the Brotherhood.
However, there is no longer any mystery as to whether or not mutants exist. Now the new mutants must cope not only with the hassles and rigors of ordinary life, but also the judgment and persecution that comes with being known as a mutant. Some persecution comes in the form of outright violence, and there are stories of mutants disappearing throughout the state of New York.
Every generation has it's hurdles, and few can compare to those faced by the X-Generation.
About The Site
X-Generation is an X-men Evolution roleplay site open to both canons and originals, and with a heavy emphasis on player-created and player-run plots. Not every story needs to be an epic battle for the fate of the world, there are plenty of other difficulties that come from growing up mutant! Staff will roll out board-wide plots of their own from time to time, but we will not be the main source of plots. We're players, just like you, and by and large, we will only interfere in a plot if we feel it's becoming a problem (for example, threats to the continued existence of Earth itself popping up every week will prompt an intervention). Otherwise, it's your story, who better to tell it than you?
Every character has a story. Every character has a reason for where they are today, and about the struggles they face. At X-Generation, we encourage our players to tell those stories!
